Chrissy Teigen, John Legend’s Fiancee Shows Engagement Ring

John Legend's model fiancée Chrissy Teigen recently showed off her flashy engagement ring, revealing that she was surprised by Legend's proposal, which took place while the couple was vacationing in the Maldives, but even more so by the rock.

"It's none of my doing at all," she said of the gem. "All I know is that it's a cushion cut, and I had never even heard of that before."

Though they have yet to set a date, Teigen went on to reveal that she is already dress hunting. The 26-year-old Sports Illustrated model, to whom Legend, six years her senior, proposed over the holidays, has apparently been perusing magazines, searching for couture gowns.

"I'm obsessed with dresses and it's so hard to stop," the 'Green Light' singer's longtime love admitted. "I really love something about Monique Lhuillier. I think she's so romantic and light and beautiful. I want to look like myself coming down the aisle, and I feel like Monique embodies what I want."

Luckily, her obsession is currently limited to window shopping. "I don't want to find [a dress] tomorrow and then have to wait a year," Teigen explained.

Teigen and Legend have been dating since 2007. He is currently hard at work on his fifth album, which is as yet untitled.
