Chance the Rapper, Ziggy Marley & Stephen Colbert Joyously Remake the ‘Arthur’ Theme Song [WATCH]
If you’re feeling down in the dumps today, this should lift your spirits. The animated children’s show Arthur has been a beloved mainstay on PBS and its theme song has become a sing-along anthem for kids. Chicago native Chance the Rapper has been famously covered the theme song at his concerts.
Talk show host Stephen Colbert decided to remake the Arthur theme song in a joyously fun video that should make you smile. Colbert, along with The Late Show bandleader Jonathan Batiste enlisted Ziggy Marley, who wrote and performed the original song, which is not to be confused with "Arthur’s Theme" by Christopher Cross.
The clip features Batiste and Ziggy performing the sunshiny tune in an animated world while Colbert pops up and takes a picture with his cartoon camera. Chance makes a surprise cameo singing the chorus and participating in the fun-filled atmosphere of the visual. Overall, the trio’s performance should make you feel good and motivate you to carry on with your day.
