Undoubtedly, Chance the Rapper had a phenomenal year. His fantastic mixtape, 'Acid Rap,' has graced several critics' year-end lists, including our Best Mixtape of 2013 tally. As his Social Experiment Tour comes to a close, the Chi-City rapper released a behind-the-scenes documentary as a thank you to his fans.

The video was shot during his two sold-out concerts in his hometown of Chicago during the Thanksgiving holiday. It was at those same shows that Chano premiered a new song much to the crowd’s delight.

But in this clip, Chance takes time to thank his loved ones and fans for supporting him on his incredible trek that has taken him all over North America.

He writes:

With little budget, experience or time for preparation, the team and I put together this #SocialExperiment Tour 2013. My first Tour. 43 shows. 18 person crew. 4 piece band. 1 Tour bus. 1 raw ass RV. This video represents positivity, love, friendship, musicianship, support and a whole lot of hard work. Big thanks and a Merry Xmas to every single person that made this possible, and everyone else who supported me like crazy this year."

-Chance

PS: SOCIAL EXPERIMENT COMING SOON"

We don’t know what he means by "Social Experiment Coming Soon," but we can certainly expect new material from him in 2014.

Congrats to Chance the Rapper for his tremendous year in the rap game.
