Yesterday, before delivering a prayer for his longtime friend, Kanye West, Chance the Rapper alluded that he too, may cancel the rest of European dates for his Magnificent World Tour. West was hospitalized on Nov. 21 following an announcement that he was canceling the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour.

“I want to extend a special prayer to my big brother, Kanye West,” Chance told BBC Radio yesterday. “I know there’s a lot of weird folks out there, but you already know that I’m a hundred grand. I want to extend this prayer and this love all the way from Britain. We might come home early to see this. Happy Thanksgiving.”

Now, it seems that has officially happened, and Chance will be coming home early, as concert promoter MCD, who were promoting the pair of shows at Dublin’s Helix, recently made the announcement via Facebook, citing "personal reasons." The Ticketmaster site confirms the cancellations as does Chance's website, as the dates were removed. However, Chance is scheduled to return to Europe in 2017 to tour.

“It is with regret that Chance the Rapper has to cancel the remainder of his European tour due to personal reasons,” the post from MCD reads. “These are 2 shows at the Helix in Dublin and 1 show at the Apollo in Manchester. He sends his apologies for this and looks forward to returning to Europe in 2017. Refunds are available from point of purchase.”

Chance has yet to comment on any of his social media pages about the cancellations.
