Bun B Returns In Trill Lyrical Form on ‘Gametime’ [LISTEN]

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from Bun B but he’s back and he’s triller than ever. On his new single, “Gametime,” the veteran rapper spits braggadocios rhymes over a soulful beat.

Over charging horns, the self-proclaimed “Mayor of PA” (Port Arthur, Texas) lets it be known that he’s can still rock the mic.

"I'm the trillest bitch you can't block me / You can't guard me / You can't stop me / Not even hardly / Don't make me pop three, like I'm Rory / 'Cause you are not G / Bitch, You are sorry / An Xbox to Atari, he raps.

Bun B closes out the song with this lyrical jab: "Never been slept on / 'Cause I'm the old and the new at the same time so get ready motherf---er, 'cause it's gametime."

There's no word if Bun B is working on a new project. His last album was 2013's Trill OG: The Epilogue, which featured cameos from Rick Ross and Devin the Dude. We are happy to see that Bun B still has that lyrical fire and he's ready to bring it anyone who wants to challenge him.
