Contrary to our previous report, there is no family gathering to say goodbye to Bobbi Kristina Brown at Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital, where she remains on life support.

People.com originally reported that family members was gathering to say goodbye to the 21-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. The singer-actress was found unconscious in a bathtub last Saturday (Jan. 31) and has been hospitalized for almost a week.

There were also reports that Kristina was brain dead but a family representative released a statement denying those reports as well. The statement reads (via 11Alive):

"There is no 'family gathering' today that is any different from any other day since (Bobbi Kristina) has been in the hospital -- the family has been there since the weekend, so nothing any different today for them to be there than any other day. She is not brain dead, and the Houstons and the Browns are not fighting."

A video has surfaced of a somber Bobby Brown, along with his wife, walking to Emory to visit his daughter. He didn't speak to the media outside.

However, the veteran R&B singer asked for privacy in a press release last Sunday (Feb. 1). "Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time,” he said.
