A$AP Twelvyy Gets Dark and Gritty in ‘Xscape’ Video
Boy, that was fast. Roughly two days after releasing his streets-approved single 'Xscape,' A$AP Twelvyy drops an accompanying visual. The dark and ominous clip features his A$AP Mob crew and a very special guest.
Directed by Simon Davis, the video takes viewers on a tour of the seedy side of the New York streets. From stick-ups to drug deals to hanging out on the block, the life of a hustler has its perils.
Harlem native Diddy makes a guest appearance in the clip, which is the ultimate co-sign for this new voice in rap. Of course, his Mob brethren and their leader, A$AP Rocky, make a cameo as well.
The overall sentiment of the video is that life for a Harlem kid shouldn’t be so rough.
No word on when the A$AP Mop compilation LP 'L.O.R.D.' will be released, but the streets are watching.
