Nike Basketball debuted a new ad last night during Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics. And while the commercial highlighted Lakers all-star Kobe Bryant, Outkast's Andre 3000 -- M.I.A. from the hip-hop scene in recent months -- stole the spot.

The one-minute Nike reel features snippets of Kobe's shining moments on the court, spliced with some footage of NBA legends including Patrick Ewing, Scottie Pippen and Magic Johnson. Andre 3000 lends his vocals to the ad, with a voice over of The Beatles' hit song 'All Together Now,' from their 1969 album 'Yellow Submarine.'

In 2009, Outkast's Big Boi dropped news that both he and Andre 3000 were hard at work on solo projects. Big Boi's solo debut 'Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty' is now set for a July release, but details on Andre's album have been sparse. After the release of their respective solo albums, however, the duo promises to follow-up with another Outkast album within the next two years. Their last release was 2006's 'Idlewild.'

Listen to Andre 3000's rendition of 'All Together Now,' after the jump.
