Alicia Keys Throws Swizz Beatz a 'Coming to America' Birthday Party

Swizz Beatz's birthday might not be until tomorrow (Sept. 13), but that worked out perfectly for Alicia Keys because it made the surprise for her husband's 36th birthday bash an even bigger success.

Inspired by the 1988 Eddie Murphy film, 'Coming to America,' the party featured Swizz being treated like royalty. He sat on a throne as did members of his family, including his mom and grandma. The producer was all smiles with his family, who were all dressed in royal garb.

But if you're wondering where Alicia was, don't worry as the 'We Are Here' singer made a lavish entrance when she sashayed across the dance floor in a white flowing dress. Dancers performed choreography around her as she walked toward Swizz, laughing the entire time, which you can see below.

"My wife is awesome," he wrote on Instagram. "thx my love for the best Bday party everrrrrrrrrerr."

Aside from family, other guests included DMX and VIBE editor-in-chief Jermaine Hall.
