Alicia Keys Blogs About Motherhood

Alicia Keys is gushing over her new baby boy Egypt Daoud Dean with husband Swizz Beatz. The Grammy winner, who gave birth two weeks ago, took to her blog to express the joys of motherhood.

"Every moment is beautiful; delicious even!" she wrote Tuesday on her blog. "Every moment I'm learning and living in a way I never have before. Being present in a way I never have before. Existing in moments I never have before. Never have I felt so calm, so purposeful in taking the time to truly observe the world around me, to live in it fully and watch it, discuss it, put time toward it. It feels really incredible -- so peaceful, so complete and long overdue."

"I've never seen a more beautiful face in my LIFE!" she continued. "The most perfect eyes and beautiful nose, the sweetest lips and skin so soft and kissable! Never have I felt such disbelief, such awe, humility, godliness, such strength, power and possibility. I've never believed in greatness and the never ending Higher Power more than now! And I can't believe he's mine!" The post was appropriately titled 'I Feel a Song Coming On.'

2010 has turned out to be an eventful year for the 29-year-old, both on a personal and professional level. Aside from her philanthropic work with her Keep A Child Alive organization, Keys completed The Freedom tour, to promote her platinum-plus-selling album, 'The Element of Freedom,' and married Swizz in an intimate ceremony along the Mediterranean back in August.

The new bundle of joy is the first for Keys, and the fourth for Swizz who shares a son with former wife Mashonda, and two others from previous relationships.
