Add another credit to Alicia Keys' resume.

This morning, at the launch event for Blackberry 10, the company's CEO Thorstein Heins announced that the singer has signed on to be the brand's Global Creative Director.

"I am an extremely committed and focused individual," Keys after being introduced. "I am going to work closely with the app designers and developers, the content creators, the retailers and the carriers to really explore this BlackBerry 10 platform and create ideas for its future."She admitted that like a lot of people, she'd been a Blackberry advocate, but had recently begun using other handsets.

"I was in a long-term relationship with BlackBerry and then I started to notice some new, hotter, attractive, sexier phones at the gym," she explained. "I kinda broke up with you for something with a little more bling. I always missed the way you organized my life and the way you were there for me at my job. So I started to have two phones, I was playing the field. But then you called and you said you were working it out. And now, we are exclusively dating again."

As many people who follow her on Twitter already know, Keys is a big user of Instagram, an app that isn't yet available for Blackberry 10. So she's either on an iPhone or an Android. Whatever the case, she's posted her first photo from her new Blackberry today.

"First official tweet from my new #BlackBerry10 baby!!!;-)" she tweeted. "#keepmoving # forwardthinking."
