A short while ago we gave you a sneak peak at the Air Jordan Kobe Pack and haven’t stopped thinking about them since. Well with the NBA All Star Game finally behind us we’ve got a clearer picture of the release and some very important details regarding it.

In honor of Kobe’s career, Nike put together a full collection of Air Jordan sneakers ranging from the Air Jordan 1 all the way to the Air Jordan XXX in both black and white. The sets were further punctuated by giving the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 8 that he played in the Lakers colors to match the pairs he wore during the 2002-03 season. Kobe was given the full set of white sneakers while the black pairs were auctioned off for Charity with proceeds going to the Jordan Wings Initiative.

The winning bid for that auction came in on Valentine’s Day at $240,100.00 and while the person who popped the tag hasn’t been identified yet, it’s safe to say that it’s probably not your average sneakerhead. You can peruse the shoes over at this eBay auction and read more about the Air Jordan Kobe 3 8 Collection as well.
