Suicide Squad may be getting trashed by critics but its soundtrack is going strong. In the latest release from the film's official soundtrack, Action Bronson, Mark Ronson and Black Keys' frontman Dan Auerbach team up for “Standing in the Rain."

The song reimagines Oran “Juice” Jones’s 1980s hit “The Rain" with Auerbach's soulful voice, Bronson's heavy-hitting rhymes and Ronson's eerie feel on the production.

Ronson also gave fans some insider information on when the song will appear in the film. While on the Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show, Ronson told listeners how the song got picked for the film and gave some insight on how the song will connect with a pivotal moment for Will Smith’s character, Deadshot.

"Bronson’s verse is just insane on it, I love it. It never had a home. We didn’t finish it in time for Bronson’s record, it wasn’t right for mine, and then they heard it for the movie Suicide Squad," he said. "They dug it and they put it in this great scene with Will Smith and his character."

Suicide Squad is set to be released on Friday (Aug. 5). The star-studded soundtrack will also arrive on the same day with appearances from Kehlani, Skrillex, Rick Ross, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Imagine Dragons, Logic, Ty Dolla $ign, Kevin Gates and more.
