On Thursday night, A3C and Choose ATL launched its "Welcome To Atlanta" reception, which is part of the 12th annual A3C Festival & Conference that's currently taking place.

The main business of the night was to honor both CeeLo Green and Killer Mike for their contributions and efforts in music, social activism and other areas.

Out of the two, the Run The Jewels member received the A3C Social Impact Award for his community work and past musical releases, while CeeLo got the A3C Cultural Influencer Award for his impact on music, fashion and pop culture.

Both MCs gave passionate speeches upon receiving their awards, mainly about their come-up in the music industry and those who've helped them along the way. Green also took to Instagram after the reception and thanked everyone for giving him the prestigious honor.

"Thank you @a3cfestival for honoring me this evening with the #CultrualInfluencerAward," he wrote. "Congrats to my brotha @KillerMike for being honored as well."

The 12th Annual A3C Festival & Conference runs through today, October 7 and will conclude this Sunday on October 9.
