50 Wild Thoughts Every Hip-Hop and R&B Fan Has Had in 2015 But Never Said
Freedom of speech is one of the cornerstones of rap music. Since its humble beginnings, hip-hop has been the voice of the people across the globe. The same can be said for R&B. Those without a strong voice or platform have found a message in songs that share their story or truths. Being an MC or a singer may be glamorous, but it also comes with the responsibility of being blunt and not beating around the bush no matter how sensitive the topic. Fans from all walks of life have adopted a similar state of mind.
Hip-hop and R&B is fueled by the fans, the people that approve or object to the sounds and stylings created by the artists making the music and setting the trends introduced on a daily basis. Those fans serve as the ultimate gatekeepers and are the most important critics when all is said and done because nothing moves without them. 2015 has been an epic year for music and a ton of noteworthy events have taken place and the year isn't even finished. High-profile albums have released, new artists climbed to the top, beefs were cooked and unfortunately, mistakes were made.
But as honest as we can be when it comes to the artists we love (and hate), some thoughts are just too zany or politically incorrect to even mention. So we just store them in our mental memory bank or chuckle about them in closed conversations with friends. However, we've taken it upon ourselves to share a few of these wild thoughts that we're sure every hip-hop and R&B fan has had during 2015 but never said. Feel free to send your hate mail, but as they say, honesty is the best policy. - Preezy
