Four years after Biggie Smalls was revived in 'Notorious,' 2Pac is finally being brought back to life on the big screen. According to Deadline, Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films has teamed up with Morgan Creek Productions to produce the long-awaited biopic, titled 'Tupac.' Filming will begin in Atlanta next February.

The movie on the legendary rapper, who was tragically shot and killed in 1996, will have access to his full music catalog. 2Pac's mother, Afeni Shakur, will also be involved as a producer alongside veteran A&R and music producer LT Hutton, who worked on several Death Row projects.

While names like Antoine Fuqua and John Singleton have been tied to the film, Morgan Creek have yet to fill the director's seat for 'Tupac.' They've also yet to cast an actor to portray 'Pac, which leaves plenty of heated barbershop debates for us.
