Adidas Y-3 Desert Boost

Y-3 has always been a watermark of style for Adidas and while they’ve added a few other big-name designers to the roster, the Yohji Yamamoto-helmed label still flourishes. His latest look takes utilitarian fashion and helps it find its footing in the comfort zone courtesy of Boost technology.

The Y-3 Desert Boost is your basic chukka at heart but with Yohji’s eye for style and Adidas’ favorite new cushioning, it's anything but basic. A military green suede toe gives a pop of color against the black heel panel while waxed cotton laces give it an even more luxurious feel. The ankle cut shoe feels a bit like a runner but is honestly like nothing we’ve seen before, which is exactly what we expected from Y-3.

These are available now at select retailers including Wish for $385. At a price like that, you’ll probably want to wear them every day. Thankfully, the Boost technology makes them comfortable enough to do just that.
