Louisiana-born rapper Webbie has kept out of the spotlight in recent months but his return to headlines isn't marked by his new music or videos. The 26-year-old is involved in a public spat with BET's '106 & Park' host Terrence J, one that has him firing off threats.

On Oct. 14, Webbie was a guest judge during the countdown show's Freestyle Fridays segment. Without warning, host Terrence J announced that the 'Independent' creator would no longer be allowed on '106 & Park' and was further banned from appearing on BET.

No details emerged as to why such an extreme measure was taken in regards to Webbie, but rumors surfaced reporting that he had reeked of marijuana and whispered an offensive remark to show co-host Rosci. While the rhymer himself had not come forward to discuss the incident right away, websites show that he took to his Twitter account to bash Terrence and threaten to "beat him up" upon their next confrontation. At this time, it seems the rhymer has deleted the threatening post he previously wrote.

The southern entertainer isn't keeping mum about the incident, though, where, in a videotaped interview, he doesn't give exact reasons for his boot from BET or the beef but he does spout off at the mouth with more warnings toward the VJ-turned-actor. "Should I say this, bruh?" Webbie asks. "I'm slapping the f--- out of Terrence when I see him."

Webbie is currently crafting his third LP, 'Savage Life 3,' which is reportedly set for release Nov. 15.
