Wale and Kid Cudi publicly aired their grievances in the media and on social networking sites in 2010, but that's water under the bridge. The Maybach Music spitter recently spoke on reconciling with his G.O.O.D. Music comrade, explaining how they patched up their beef and why their strong friendship is what caused the drama in the first place.

"We close friends. The closer you are to somebody, the worse the fights be. We squashed it. Everything good. We friends," he told WPGC 95.5's Free. "He's good, taking care of his kids, working hard. He's working on his new album."

The beef originally stemmed from comments that Cudders made about Wale during an interview with Complex magazine after he heard a line from a freestyle dissing him.

"That's one of those raps that just shows the world that you wack," Cudi said, addressing how Wale was mad that his associate Kanye wasn't supplying him with instrumentals. "'Ye ain't give you no beats because we ain't f---ing with your raps. It's not a conspiracy theory. We don't f--- with you musically, so we're not going to provide music for you."

The two deaded their beef six months later on Twitter, tweeting at one another to show the world that their issues were resolved.
