Veteran Detroit Rapper MC Breed Dies at 36
Michigan-based veteran rapper MC Breed is was found dead at a friend's home. According to reports, the rapper, born Eric Breed, died in his sleep. He was 36 years old.
Breed was hospitalized in September after collapsing on a basketball court in Atlanta. The rapper was admitted to the hospital and placed on life support due to kidney failure.
Prior to his health crisis, the rap pioneer was in the process of inking a deal with Ichiban Records. According to MTV, his album was to be called 'Mc Breed --The Original Swag' and would feature Too Short, Erotic D, Ant Banks and others.
Breed is best known for his collaborations with Tupac Shakur, E-40, Too Short, and The D.O.C., among others.
