Vans Year of the Monkey Collection

The Year of the Monkey begins in 2016 and to help celebrate the Chinese New Year Vans has put together a killer collection of colorways. They’ve taken the task even further, however, by adding yet another thematic layer to each pair included in the set.

The Vans "Year of the Monkey" Collection includes a Vans Half Cab and two Vans Sk8-Hi models for a total of three themed sneakers. As for the colorways, the trio of shoes draw their inspiration from China’s Year of The Monkey commemorative stamp releases in 1980, 1992 and 2004. The colorful set employs the richest suede and leather and while each one has a white outsole they each have their own distinct and vibrant personality.

The Vans "Year of the Monkey" Collection is available now at Vans retailers, which gives you more than enough time to get fresh ahead of the Chinese New Year on Feb. 8.
