As The BoomBox previously reported, Usher is teaming with Belvedere Vodka for a new (Product)Red campaign, with proceeds from each liquor bottle going towards fighting the Global AIDS epidemic. Last night, in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Grammy week, Usher kicked-off his partnership with Belvedere Vodka and Product Red, with a performance.

Usher who took the stage for well over an hour, performing a bevy of his hits -- 'OMG,' 'U Remind Me,' 'Nice & Slow' and 'Love and Friends' -- appeared alongside New York DJ, Fatman Scoop. "I'm deejaying for Usher but I believe in things that have to do with social responsibility," Scoop told The BoomBox. "This is an event [that supports] things that have a heart. I believe in it because we can take your money all the time, artists in entertainment, but if we don't give anything back then we can't prosper."

In what is turning out to be a stellar career for Usher, the 31-year-old has been going non-stop since the release of his sixth album 'Raymond V. Raymond' in March. Last week the singer was overseas for the European leg of his successful OMG tour, and also performed at the Super Bowl halftime show. Next up Usher will hit the Grammy stage, and recently announced a second round of touring stateside.

Other celebs in attendance at the event included Jermaine Dupri, Jamie Foxx, Estelle, Melody Thornton and Chelsea Handler.
