Following the Dallas Mavericks' Game Five NBA Finals win, Usher and talk show host Jimmy Kimmel dedicated a slow jam to the benchwarmers -- those previously-unsung sideline heroes and all-stars in moral support, huddle hugs and high-fives.

The comedy spot premiered on the fifth 'Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night' special Thursday night (June 9), with Usher rocking a casual leather jacket, and Kimmel looking something like a 'Scarface' extra in his grey suit, open collar and aviator glasses.

"This bench would be cold without you, benchwarmers/ Sometimes you look dead, but we love you, bench warmers," the duo sings. "You stand up, then you sit back down, bench warmers/ For this you travel out of town, bench warmers."

Though Kimmel's R. Kelly 'I Believe I Can Fly' attempt perhaps takes things a bit too far, the clip is smooth, down to the pair's final chest bump.

"To all of my benchwarmers out there, me and Jim thank you so much for your support," concludes Usher. "For all the motivation you give to the real players, all of your unique handshakes and chest bumps, we thank you."
