Hip-Hop's biggest acts are rallying around the man they believe is the genre's next star: Tyrese?

Yep. Under the alias Black Ty, the singer-actor will release a double album of hip-hop and R&B entitled 'Alter Ego' this fall on J Records. In the meantime, he's dropped several mixtapes through his own Headquarter Entertainment, recording tracks with David Banner, Snoop Dogg, Too Short, Kurupt and The Game.

"I still want to get with Jay-Z, 50, Jadakiss and [Beanie] Sigel, but I don't want people to think the amount of collabos I'm doing is just for credibility," he tells AOL Music. "I haven't had one manager or agent make any phone calls to get these done. Either people heard it and wanted to be a part of it, or they didn't."

Hopefully, the entertainer said, his new music will show fans another side of him. "I rap about the sh*t I went through coming up in Watts, like being broke, doing whatever to get money, [having] family problems," he explained. "I just wanna see people dance, and they don't dance to Tyrese the singer."
