TwistaChicago native Twista has just released a dedication track to the victims of the horrific earthquake that killed thousands and devastated the country of Haiti early Tuesday evening. Remixing Wyclef and Mary J. Blige's '911,' the tongue twisting emcee wasted no time in expressing his feelings on the disaster and recorded a verse that asks for donations. Twista is one of the first rappers to speak about the tragedy on wax.

Before Twista breaks into his rapid but smooth as silk flow, the emcee gives a brief testimony over the songs opening guitar strings, "We all connected by one spiritual web, so I know y'all felt the pain when you seen what happened to my people in Haiti. You couldn't help do nothing but cry, so we now gotta do our part and help. This is dedicated to my people in Haiti. We shall overcome."

Currently, you can donate $5 in relief funds through Wyclef Jean's Yele Haiti organization by texting "yele" to 501-501. Also UPS is offering free shipping under $50 to Haiti and there are multiple organizations which are collecting supplies and donations for the country's aid. To find more information on how you can help, please visit Yele.org. You can listen to Twista's version of '911' after the jump.
