Earlier this week, the hip-hop world celebrated the late Tupac Shakur's 44th birthday. While many artists showed love to the fallen rapper, one West Coast star in particular wished him a very special birthday and had a message for his fans.

Ice Cube announced on Instagram that the "Me Against the World" lyricist will be included in the new N.W.A biopic, Straight Outta Compton

"Happy birthday to the homie Tupac. Shooting the Tupac scene for Straight Outta Compton today, the stars are aligned..." he wrote. The photo the "It Was a Good Day" rhymer used included himself, Tupac and movie director John Singleton.

Cube didn't divulge any information as to what we can expect from the Tupac scene or who will play the role of the late rapper in the movie. One thing that should be duly noted is that according to IMDB, there isn't a character listed for Tupac in the movie. With that being said, who knows what Cube has under his sleeve for Tupac's scene.

The trailer is intense, which further builds the anticipation for the release. With Dr. Dre and Cube leading thInge, this movie shouldn't disappoint one bit.

Straight Outta Compton will hit theaters Aug. 13.
