Troy Ave may be a "free" man, currently able to walk the streets, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have people after him.

The New York rapper took to Instagram yesterday (Dec. 21) to upload a screenshot of a conversation between himself and an unnamed individual who is asking for "20 big ones" over a sex tape that features Ave. The person behind the shakedown recently stole Troy's laptop and happened to stumble upon an X-rated video involving the Brooklyn MC and "a chick," Troy adamantly explains in his IG caption.

According to the texts, the person with the laptop and video is allegedly ready to strike a deal with The Shade Room for the video if Ave doesn't hand over funds, soon. But Troy says the stolen sex tape is actually for a music video - with X-rated scenes deleted of course - and tells the man making threats to go forth and conquer.

"I will Not be extorted. It Ain't like I'm doing some freaky R Kelly $hit all me and my fans care about us my freedom, this dope music I'm puttin out & hearing #WhiteChristmas4 on Friday ...."
