Travis Scott’s AstroWorld Tour Will Feature Amusement Park Rides
Lavish tours are becoming the norm in music today, and Travis Scott will continue the trend. While the "Hidden Hills" rapper prepares for the release of his next album, AstroWorld, the Houston artist already has ideas for his next tour.
Speaking with Rolling Stone, Travis said he wants his tour to double as an amusement park. Named after the now-defunct Houston amusement park, the rapper wants rides to encircle him as he performs on stage during the AstroWorld tour.
He told the publication, "I don't know why it hasn't been done already – I think people just don't do s---. Who makes stages these days that are cool?"
While AstroWorld doesn't have a release date yet, Scott recently said the album would be coming out soon. During an August performance in Los Angeles, the rapper told the crowd, "I think this might be the last club I do until my album drops. I'm about to go away in hiding for a couple weeks, a couple of months. Me and Quavo album about to drop real soon. AstroWorld about to drop real soon."
In related Travis Scott news, it was reported that he and girlfriend Kylie Jenner were expecting their first child together. According to a report from TMZ, the couple is expecting a baby girl, and Jenner is already nearly five months pregnant.
