The Black Eyed Peas proved just how far they've come Sunday night (Feb. 6) during the Super Bowl XLV halftime show. From a light show to superstar special guests, the foursome pulled out an arsenal of surprises.

After making a grand entrance by lowering down onto the stage, will.i.am, Fergie, Taboo and apl.de.ap moved front and center, gliding into the uplifting jam 'I Gotta Feeling.' 'Boom Boom Pow' was up next, fully supported by a league of dancers, who were dressed in glowing green attire and formed the shape of arrows on the stadium floor.

In one of the night's first eventful moments, Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash came up through an opening in the floor, striking the chord's of his band's recognizable hit 'Sweet Child O' MIne,' while Fergie took over the song's lyrics. Dressed in a Judy Jetson-like dress, the female member of the BEP moved into 'Pump It' with the rest of her brethren. 'Let's Get It Started' then followed as the Dallas arena was continuously cascaded in an array of lights.

Usher then hit the center platform after being lowered down while holding tightly to a chain. The R&B crooner performed his chart-topping tune 'OMG,' surrounded by a gang of dancers clad in white. Usher, dressed in white himself, fell right in sync with the evening's festivities.

Before the halftime show came to a close, the Black Eyed Peas sang through 'Where Is the Love?' sans Justin Timberlake, and 'The Time (Dirty Bit).' Dancers adorned with glowing red lights formed the shape of hearts during the respective tune and for the latter, the BEP brought out "block heads" in a move similar to the song's accompanying video. As is to be expected of veterans with over 13 years experience in the music industry, the BEP rose to the occasion.
