Sneaker of the Week: Nike KD 8 Xmas

Holiday-themed releases are typically very overt and nothing’s wrong with that unless you try and wear them any other time of the year. Enter Nike Basketball’s 2016 Christmas Pack and more specifically Kevin Durant's KD 8 signature colorway, which delivers the theme perfectly and is our pick for Sneaker of the Week.

The Nike KD 8 "Xmas" is a great design for starters and the yule log theme executed across the model is artfully done. The white hot sneaker features a crackled midsole which gives the feel of burning embers while the medial side gets a bit more messy with shades of black and red flaming things up. It’s one of those rare moments where a shoe actually feels like art and makes no bones about expressing it.
