Sneaker of The Week: Air Jordan 12 Wings

The Air Jordan 12 is having a moment this year and it’s resulting in the sneaker manifesting as it’s best self over and over again. This has made for some very empty wallets and full sneaker collections; but in the end, it has made for some fun sneaker blogging. Their latest take on the model is one so fresh that we chose it for our Sneaker of The Week.

The Air Jordan 12 Wings is a model that tells the story of Michael earning his wings time and time again in the sneaker; and it does so through a unique device. The side panel slowly fades from black to gold feathered strokes that only appear after being wiped, agitated and rubbed on its natural surface, much like facing real life adversity. The model also hosts golden accents as well as a silhouetted image of Jordan’s wingspan running up the ankle.

This model is set to release on April 2nd and will be available through Nike’s SNKR app and seeing as how it’s limited to 12,000 pair you may want to hit the iTunes store and download that right now in preparation.
