Roc Marciano came away with one of the best projects of 2012 with 'Reloaded.' This year, the Long Island, N.Y., lyricist will throw his hat into the overcrowded ring with his third studio LP, 'Marci Beacoup,' arriving next month.

Because Marci keeps it all the way gully (too gully for some), he's decided to ease us in with this brilliantly titled new project, 'The Pimpire Strikes Back.' Across 16 tracks, the former Flipmode Squad member evokes grainy scenes of a '70s pimp in the New York City streets with super-slick rhymes and sample-heavy production.

'The Pimpire Strikes Back' boasts a stellar supporting cast on both sides of the booth. Action Bronson, Cormega, Meyhem Lauren and Willie the Kid drop guest verses, while the Alchemist, Madlib, Evidence and D.I.T.C. legend Lord Finesse contribute beats.

Before diving into 'Marci Beacoup' on Dec. 10, get your feet wet with 'The Pimpire Strikes Back' below.
