Signature sneakers are fun because each colorway has a story to tell. Which is why this Reebok Shaq Attaq telling the story of Shaq’s snub from the Olympic Dream Team is as fun as ever.

In 1992, Shaq was snubbed for Christian Laettner, and this model does a very effective job of tossing a subtle shot his way. Laettner wore the Nike Air Flight Huarache, and smack dab in the middle of this model’s upper is a purple and blue neoprene panel that you’d find on that model. The mashup finishes itself off with white and navy tumbled leather, a golden midsole and an X’ed out Shaq logo on the heel.

There is no word on when these will hit Reebok retailers but stay tuned for more information.
