Michael JacksonMichael Jackson's brother, Randy Jackson, has announced that he is in negotiations to make Michael's grave site open to the public.

The area where Michael is buried is currently off-limits to non-family members, but Randy intends to change that. His hope is to allow fans to visit the King of Pop's private mausoleum, located in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Cal., in time for the anniversary of Michael's death, next month.

Randy tweeted, "I'm meeting with Forest Lawn and the City of Glendale. Although they have strict rules, I'll do my best 2 see if fans can visit & pay their respects beyond the gates of ForestLawn, on the 25th. I will inform you all soon."

Recently, Michael's ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley reached out to fans to send sunflowers to the cemetery, to help brighten up his grave site.

"I know how much he loved and appreciated being showered with Gifts and flowers by his fans," said Presley. "I thought if whoever wants to bought just one silk sunflower each and sent it, the whole area around him and in front of him (As well as the two large empty vases that sit on either side of him) could be filled up in no time, which would be much more appropriate than what the current status is right now."

Responding to Presley's request, a flower grower sent 2,000 sunflowers to the mausoleum.
