Ramsay the Great Found Guilty of Pimping Women He Found on Social Media

Los Angeles rapper Ramsay the Great (or Ramsay tha Great) has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for pimping women on social media.

According to CBS Los Angeles, the 25-year-old rapper, whose real name is Brandon Christopher Ramsay, pled guilty to four felony charges of pimping and pandering, as well as one count of human trafficking. He also pled guilty to one count of assault with a firearm in the case.

Prosecutors charged that Ramsay was making thousands of dollars each week pimping out women from Orange County, Calif., he found on social media by using his influence to lure them. Four women accused Ramsay of pimping them. One woman, who thought she was Ramsay’s girlfriend, said the rapper threatened her with a gun when she said she wanted to quit and demanded that she makes a $1,000 a day.

Ramsay the Great is also made headlines back in January after he was assaulted by Chief Keef and his crew. The altercation resulted in him having severe facial injuries, which he shared on social media. Keef and another associate was arrested for the incident after Ramsay contacted the authorities.
