Police Have Identified Suspect in the Murder of Rich Gang Affiliate BTY Young’N

Police are on the manhunt for the man who allegedly shot and killed Rich Gang affiliate BTY Young’N. According to WWLTV.com, authorities have identified Darryl Bannister Jr. as the man who fatally shot the New Orleans rapper.

As we previously reported, BTY Young’N, whose real name is Desmone Jerome, was shot several times at a gas station on April 29. Police haven’t released a motive, but the rapper’s close friend, Michael Patterson, believes BTY Young’N was targeted while he was waiting to secure a deposit for a concert performance.

When and if police arrest Bannister, he will be charged with second-degree murder for his role in the shooting.
