Playboi Carti and Quavo ‘Call Up the Troops’ in New Song [LISTEN]

Playboi Carti's popularity is growing by the day, and with the new music he's been dropping lately, that's likely to only continue.

Yesterday (March 28), the young spitter released a new cut called "Call Up the Troops," featuring Migos' Quavo, and both MCs swap raid fire flows over solid production by Digital Nas.

Meanwhile, Carti could be one of the 2017 XXL Freshman when the magazine announces their list this summer. In fact, he made his pitch to them recently, and a video of it was just released.

"I wanna be a freshman, because I feel like I've been working hard," he said. "I feel like my fans deserve it, my family deserves it. It's gonna be big. It's a big thing for me. [It'll] be a big stepping stone in my life."

There's no telling if  "Call Up the Troops" will be on the Atlanta rhymers' debut mixtape, but you can listen to it below.
