Paris Jackson Insists Grandfather Joe ‘Didn’t Tweet’ Cryptic Message Amid Terminal Illness
Last week we reported that Joe Jackson was terminally ill with cancer and didn't have long to live.
Two days later, the Jackson family patriarch and grandfather of 28 tweeted a cryptic message: "I have seen more sunsets than I have left to see. The sun rises when the time comes and whether you like it or not the sun sets when the time comes."
Paris Jackson, 20, who is the daughter of the Michael Jackson, questioned the tweet's authenticity writing, "This is a beautiful tweet. Though it upsets me to see whoever is in charge of this account taking advantage of it. My grandfather did not tweet this. I’m not sure if he’s ever used this account."
She added: “I was with him there’s no possible way for him to have tweeted it."
TMZ reported that Joe's wife Katherine Jackson, children and grandchildren have all flown out to visit him in the hospital. June 25 marked the ninth anniversary of the King of Pop's death, who passed away at the age of 50 inside his Los Angeles home.
This past weekend, Normani Kordei and Raven-Symoné presented Janet Jackson with the first-ever Impact Award at the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards for her career achievements. Amid the speculation, Miss Jackson took the stage and attributed her success to her family.
"My mother nourished me with the most extravagant love imaginable," she said. "My dad — my incredible father —drove me to be the best that I can. My siblings set an incredible high standard, a high bar for artistic excellence."
