After a handful of tease dates, Outkast's much-anticipated album 'Idlewild' will finally hit shelves on August 22.

'Idlewild' is the accompanying soundtrack to the eclectic hip-hop duo's musical film of the same name, which chronicles the stories of a struggling musician (Andre 3000) and a charming Casanova (Big Boi) set during the Depression-era South. Fans got a preview of the follow-up to 2003's double-disc 'Speakerboxxx/The Love Below' last month with the release of the first single, 'Might O.' The second single, 'Morris Brown,' will be released in the coming weeks.

The film is slated for release on August 25.

Holding one's breath, however, isn't encouraged.
