Nike Kobe 11 Achilles Heel

Kobe Bryant’s final season means that his story with Nike may be coming to a close and for their final chapter they are continuing to innovate. The Nike Kobe 11 is an inventive shoe with an improvement on the tech he previously pioneered.

Our familiar friend Flyknit is present as usual but this time the threads are even stronger thanks to the use of thermoplastic polyurethane, which will provide elasticity and resistance in the shoe. Now the real question? Are these kicks fresh or not?

The answer to that is a resounding yes, and as usual, Kobe doesn’t disappoint in the style department. A fiery red upper that makes reference to Achilles fades to black from toe to heel over the course of this low vamp silhouette and if you take a look beneath the shoe, you'll see that the outsole has also been revamped.

These beautiful looking sneakers are set to make their debut on Jan. 9 at select Nike retailers and their online store.
