To call Nike's relationship with Kanye West anything but fruitful would be irresponsible because in their short time together, they've set several trends. One of the last statements they made as a team was the 'Red October' colorway and while he's no longer working with the brand, his presence is definitely felt in this new release.

Kanye's infamous all-red-everything colorway is being applied to the Nike Dunk High that alludes to the Nike Air Yeezy 2 in a few ways. For starters, it features suede, mesh and studs, which were each an integral part of the original release. The tonality is pushed to the limit and a translucent red outsole finishes things off lovely.

We're still waiting to see what move the rapper-turned-designer makes with adidas, but Nike looks to launch these in the fall of 2015. A literal ‘Red October’ sounds pretty cool if you ask us.
