It's that time of the year again where Nike gives a few kids from the Oregon Health & Science University Doernbecher Children’s Hospital the dream job of designing shoes. For the 11th installment of the program a rogue squadron of six kids have put together a really cool narrative driven release.

The drop includes an Air Jordan 8 (Caden Lampert), Nike SB Stefan Janoski Max (Chase Crouch), Nike Air Max Penny (Alejandro Muñoz), Nike Air Max Thea (Alejandro Muñoz) and two Nike Free 5.0's (Tim Haarmann & Melissa (Missy) Miller) each one more vibrant than the last with a complete collection of apparel alongside it. Things get even cooler however when you dig into the backstory of each item as nearly every detail is a chapter of the story.

Nike's Doernbecher campaign has raised nearly 8 million dollars over the past 10 years which just goes to just that it truly is bigger than sneakers. The entire collection release on Nov 23rd at select retailers as well as Nike.com.
