When it comes to fashion, the military always makes for great inspiration. There is something about that utilitarian base that is perfect to build on for a really creative take on tech. The Nike Air Max 90 Sneakerboot is the next candidate for a military makeover and the sneaker is given an interesting alteration.

The shoe comes in two tonal colorways including black or tan and its true selling point comes in the form of patches. Included in each pair is a set of Velcro patches that are meant to hit the heel and tongue of the sneaker. The set of patches either pay homage to select cities or serve as branding for the beloved Nike runner.

Both pair arrive on Mar. 12 and will be available at Nike Lab as well as select retailers.
