LeBron James has always put on for his city and even when he dipped down to Miami for a short stay, home was where his heart was. Well, not only is he back but this time, he’s bringing a pair of Nikes with him bearing the name of his hometown.

The Nike Air LeBron Akronite is a slick-looking lifestyle number with a tripped-out galaxy theme helping to propel it to the moon and beyond. The shoe features a chromed-out toe box and velcro side paneling that comes stocked with a slew of removable patches to apply for full customization. The finishing touch is its glowing outsole that, along with the shape of the midsole, almost gives the sneaker a Yeezy feel.

These are set to land at Nike retailers on Oct. 15 and from the looks of things, they will be in kids sizes only. It’s also rumored that they may be an Ohio exclusive as well, which makes things even more interesting.
