Moneybagg Yo Tour Bus Shot Up in New Jersey, Two People Injured [VIDEO]
Moneybagg Yo and his entourage were involved in a shooting at a New Jersey rest stop that left two people injured.
According to NBC New York, the shooting happened on Friday night (Aug. 18) at 7PM when the Memphis rapper parked his black Sprinter van at the Thomas Edison rest area on the New Jersey Turnpike. Moneybagg Yo, whose real name is Demario White, was scheduled to perform in Newark, N.J., that night.
Two people were injured during the shooting, with witnesses saying one was suffering from a head wound. Both victims was rushed to a nearby hospital and are listed in serious but stable condition. Moneybagg Yo and several other men were seen being escorted into a waiting police car, though they were not placed in handcuffs.
Moneybagg Yo is signed with Yo Gotti’s CMG label and has been building a buzz for himself with his just-released mixtape, Federal 3X. The 25-year-old rapper recently dropped a video for his latest single, "Important."
Authorities have no suspects or motives in the shooting as the investigation is still ongoing.
