Miguel heads to the Wildheart Motel with Travi$ Scott for the visual of the "Waves" remix.

The hazy video starts off by showing Miguel as a cult leader or TV evangelical. "The majority accept the chaos, obey the fear and curing pain," says the singer, speaking through a TV screen. "You know you can die."

Visually, the video goes for a retro look -- as if it was shot in the '60s or '70s. It features grainy camera footage as Miguel performs on a rooftop of the "Wildheart Motel" for a crowd of drugged out fans in Los Angeles.

Scott also chimes in for a few rhymes aboard the faux motel's rooftop. "I'ma make the waves, just bring your surfboard yeah /  I've been offshore, I've been offshore / Somewhere shaded with my hair braided / Hate to tell you I couldn't make it yeah / But be your man, I can be that later / Right now I might pull up on ya' on my surfboard like I'm Kelly Slater," raps "La Flame" over the Cash Dillon-produced beat.

Miguel has been on a roll lately. After paying tribute to Michael Jackson with a cover of "She's Out of My Life" at the Grammys last Monday (Feb. 15), the song spiked in listens by 173% on Spotify, according to the Variety Editor-in-Chief. Unfortunately he didn't win the two awards he was up for that night, but, he still has the best prize of all -- a "yes" answer when he proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Nazanin Mandi.
