Mary J. Blige Shares Her ‘Growing Pains’ With Soap Opera

R&B diva Mary J. Blige just finished taping two performances for the daytime soap opera 'One Life to Life.' The show will feature Blige singing two tracks off her latest album, 'Growing Pains,' during a surprise birthday party for Starr Manning.

"It's absolutely amazing to be integrated into a soap I've watched since I was a little girl," said Blige in a statement.

There's also been rumors of rap star Snoop Dogg vying for a chance to pen and perform a new theme song for the soap. Fans can check out Blige on 'One Life to Live' on February 15 and 18.
