A life sentence ruling has been upheld for rapper Mac Minister -- real name, Andre Dow -- who was found guilty of murdering two men in 2005.

In 2008, Mac Minister was convicted of murdering 24-year-old Kansas City rapper Anthony "Fat Tone" Watkins and his friend Jermaine Akins. He was accused of luring the two men to a housing development in Las Vegas, under the guise of introducing them to Snoop Dogg. Police said the murders were an act of revenge for the 2004 drive-by murder of Bay Area rapper Mac Dre, in Kansas City.

Mac Minister was arrested in 2006 after being featured on 'America's Most Wanted' for attempting to elude capture. In July 2008, he was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of conspiracy to commit murder. Mac's lawyers argued that a minimum of 10 errors were made during the original trial, prompting an appeal, but a Nevada Supreme Court has concluded that the errors have no bearing on the ruling.

A sentencing date has not been scheduled as yet.
