LeBron James and Kevin Durant Actually Recorded a Rap Song Together

It looks like LeBron James and Kevin Durant recorded a rap song together that may or may not see the light of day.

According to ESPN, the track was made during the league's 2011 lockout, while King James was a member of the Miami Heat and Durant played the Oklahoma City Thunder. At that time, KD joined LeBron in Akron, Ohio to workout, and that's how the song was birthed.

In addition, Durant produced the track, since he creates beats in his spare time, and he also spit the first and third verses. James, meanwhile, filled the middle of the cut and rapped on the second verse.

Recently, both players, who are now going toe-to-toe in the NBA finals, were asked about the song, and they admitted that it existed, then broke out into laughter.

Plus, Eric Goodwin, who's Durant's agent, also talked about the song and said it was pretty solid. In fact, he wanted the folks behind Durant's 2012 movie Thunderstruck to include it in the soundtrack.

"I heard the track years ago during post-production for Thunderstruck," he said. "It was very good. I suggested submitting it to Warner Brothers for the movie soundtrack, but KD wanted to keep it private."

For now, neither Durant or LeBron has said anything about the song to the public, but the folks on Twitter have already shared their opinion. You can see some of those comments below.
