Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo Break Up

Love is taking a huge hit this week. Another celebrity couple have gone their separate ways. Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo have split.

According to PEOPLE, sources say the breakup was amicable and they will always remain friends.

The couple was last spotted together at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on Aug. 24. Sparks and Derulo were inseparable at the event with their matching white ensembles.

"They were loving each other's company as they sat in the front row and danced together," said a source.

Sparks and Derulo have been dating for three years and were never shy with their PDA during the course of their relationship. The couple often posed on the red carpet together and shared romantic selfies on social media.

Recently, Derulo has been spotted without Sparks. The 'Wiggle' singer celebrated his 25th birthday on Sept. 21 with his friends Snoop Dogg and Jermaine Dupri. Meanwhile, Sparks wrote a cryptic message on her Twitter feed on Sept. 15. She tweeted, "I just wrote the saddest song of my life."

This breakup news follows the shocking announcement that Amber Rose is divorcing Wiz Khalifa due to infidelity.

Reps for both Derulo and Sparks had no comment on their reported split.
